Every few years the San Francisco Public Library stages a contest to design library cards. This year they had over 3,000 entries. Ultimately, five designs are chosen from ten finalists, and patrons can pick which one of the five winners they want when they sign up for a new library card. This year, one of the ten finalists is one of my daughter’s schoolmates (a 2nd grader)! She calls her design “Imagine the possibilities.”
