Photo 17 Jul 15 notes I was really excited to see this streetcar rolling down Market Street earlier tonight. It’s unique — at least within the SF fleet — and only runs very occasionally.

Back when I was a kid, it would run up and down Market every Sunday in the summer. With its open-air stylings and rounded bow, it made 6-year-old me think of a pirate ship. This was encouraged by the fact that the conductors often flew pirate flags.

Back in the day, I’d get on even if I wasn’t going anywhere. ARGGGGHH.
